THE ASSIGNMENT
TALORIM is recruiting Stagehands / Event Crew Members to support its clients’ teams during technical and event productions in Lyon.
You will work alongside event teams during the preparation, setup, operation and dismantling of events. This is a highly hands-on role that primarily requires reliability, punctuality, team spirit and the ability to adapt quickly to on-site requirements.
DUTIES
• preparation and handling of event and technical equipment;
• loading and unloading vehicles and trucks;
• transporting equipment to setup areas;
• assisting with the setup and dismantling of installations;
• unrolling, pulling, routing, protecting and storing cables;
• handling flight cases, technical equipment and structural elements;
• assisting sound, lighting, video, rigging and production teams;
• preparing and tidying technical and backstage areas;
• maintaining an organised and safe working environment;
• following instructions from team leaders, production managers and technical supervisors.
REQUIRED PROFILE
No previous experience is required.
Initial experience in events, live entertainment, manual handling, logistics or technical trades is appreciated but not mandatory.
We place particular importance on professionalism, punctuality, motivation, conduct on site and the ability to learn.
The role involves physical handling and carrying equipment. Candidates must be comfortable with active and sometimes demanding work.
A Category B driving licence is an advantage.
Team members must also be comfortable using a smartphone and simple digital tools to receive assignment information and monitor operations.
WORKING HOURS
Assignments may take place during the day or at night, on weekdays, weekends and public holidays, depending on events.
Some assignments may start very early or finish late at night.
Schedule flexibility is therefore important.
PAY
Compensation is determined according to experience, level of autonomy, skills and the candidate’s profile.
Beginners can join the teams and progressively develop their skills.
Experienced candidates able to work with greater autonomy will be valued accordingly.
Assignments are offered occasionally or regularly in Lyon, depending on our clients’ needs and your availability.
