THE ASSIGNMENT
TALORIM is recruiting stagehands / event crew members to support its clients’ teams during technical and event productions in Brest.
You will work alongside event teams during preparation, setup, live operations and teardown. This is a highly hands-on role requiring reliability, punctuality, a strong team spirit and the ability to adapt quickly to on-site demands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• preparation and handling of event and technical equipment;
• loading and unloading vehicles and trucks;
• transporting equipment to setup areas;
• assisting with the setup and teardown of installations;
• unrolling, pulling, routing, protecting and storing cables;
• handling flight cases, technical equipment and structural elements;
• assisting sound, lighting, video, structure and production teams;
• preparing and tidying technical and backstage areas;
• maintaining an organised and safe working environment;
• following instructions from team leaders, production managers and technical managers.
REQUIRED PROFILE
No previous experience is required.
Initial experience in events, live entertainment, handling, logistics or technical occupations is valued but not required.
We place particular importance on reliability, punctuality, motivation, conduct on site and the ability to learn.
The role involves physical handling and carrying equipment. Candidates must be comfortable with active and sometimes demanding work.
A Category B driving licence is an advantage.
Team members must also be comfortable using a smartphone and simple digital tools to receive mission-related information and monitor operations.
WORKING HOURS
Productions may take place during the day or at night, on weekdays, weekends and public holidays, depending on the events.
Some assignments may start very early or finish late at night.
Flexibility is therefore important.
PAY
Pay is determined according to the candidate’s experience, level of independence, skills and profile.
Beginners may join the teams and develop their skills progressively.
Experienced profiles able to work more independently will be valued accordingly.
Assignments are offered occasionally or regularly in Brest, depending on our clients’ needs and your availability.
